Around the holidays, especially during Thanksgiving season, we are all reminded of the importance of having an attitude of gratitude. This means that everyone begins to wind down from the year’s ups and downs and really shift their thinking towards family, friends and the spirit of giving. I want to challenge entrepreneurs to put an extra twist on this.If you aspire to one day own your own business, or if you’ve already achieved this great feat, I implore you to make gratitude a core principle of your business.
There is nothing that will build your life faster than just being truly grateful for the things that you have. No matter the circumstances, you have something to be grateful for. Whether your business is soaring or whether you have lost half your clientele, whether you are getting press coverage for your company in The New York times or from the blogger who lives next door…you are alive to embark on new experiences so you should be grateful for the mere gift of having the ability to create and improve.
